What It Looks Like, What It Feels Like (2008)

Gill’s first evening length work what it looks like, what it feels like was curated by choreographer Sarah Michelson and commissioned by The Kitchen. In this early work Gill creates two distinct worlds. One is folkloric and iconic in nature and set on top of a mirror. The other is formal and dancerly in nature and set on top of an electric blue grid.

Eleanor & Eleanor (2007)

Eleanor & Eleanor was commissioned by Dance Theater Workshop in 2007. This early work initiated formal explorations of symmetry and duplication, which have continued and evolved throughout Gill’s career. This was the first exclusive collaboration between Gill and composer Jon Moniaci. Since then they have created five evening length works together.
